Is your home office up to snuff?

With the enormous amount of office workers now working from home it may be time to evaluate your set up and how functional your home office is. 

Here at IDI central we’ve been working from a home office since the year 2000. Yeh, a long time ago. This 21 years of working from home have provided us an insight into optimizing how the home office can and should work. So you’ve got to ask yourself, who are you going to listen to, people that may have done this for a few short months and think they have it figured out or someone that has worked out of the house for more than 2 decades.

We certainly believe that it should be the later of the two options. 

What are the qualifications? Here’s a short list to consider:

• Set up and worked out of 5 different rooms in the house over the years
• Integrated IT equipment into the house to support external personnel on file sharing
• Moved from small to large to medium to small to just the right sized office
• Lots of experience in setting up the office and moving it to make if more efficient and effective
•  Worked with all kinds of furniture to figure out what works and what doesn’t

So with the high level of qualifications we are going to explore how  you might set up your office and things you need to consider.

Of course, with our access to quality furniture we are going to give you some ideas to consider on what you might purchase to outfit your digs. Many of our vendors have been assembling special packages for our current times so we put together a number of those for you to review and see it any might work for you.
