Schnucks has been a very long term loyal client to IDI.

The relationship started before IDI was founded where the original principals were part of the team that helped to build and furnish the new corporate office back in the 1990's.

Matthew specifically was personally in charge of the furniture procurement and the move coordination for what, at that time, was about 450 team members located in 4 different locations around the St. Louis region.

After IDI was formed we were blessed with multiple projects that included:

• New furniture
• Reconfigurations
• Office changes
• Carpet replacement
• New building additions

A very notable project was a realignment of multiple people and departments. This project was originally slated for a 6 week period. Through a thorough planning process, detailed scheduling and clear communication the project was successfully completed in one weekend. Work started on Friday night at 5 pm and was concluded before team members arrived at 7 am Monday morning. The project included moving 165 people, reconfiguring 75 cubicles and replacing the carpet in one department (Approx 4,700 sq ft).  This schedule saved untold hours for team members to pack and unpack several times and effectively allowed the company to make a major change with very little disruption to productivity.

West Central got in touch with us back in early 2022.  Their lease was up and they had found a great space to move to. After some sticker shock on what it was going to cost to move they looked around.

They found IDI and we sat down to talk about what they wanted to do. Their plan was to move themselves, they had the able bodies and the time to do it - while we don't suggest this from a physical standpoint and worker's comp liability, we work to help the client see their vision - not ours.

After putting a plan together IDI managed their move, provided some key moving equipment and the knowledge of cubicle furniture take down and assembly.  We accomplished it over the desired weekend and they were up and running servicing their clients by Monday morning.

Since the original move IDI has provided numerous additional items including:

• A new executive office
• Desk chairs
• Sit-to-Stand bases to convert existing furniture
• Computer monitor support arms

We look forward to helping them into the future as their business grows and expands.

About St. Louis Men's Clinic

Shawn is a very successful Chiropractor and Entrepreneur. When he sees a need and has the ability to help people he doesn't hesitate.

Shawn opened St. Louis Men's Clinic and then went through a large expansion and that's where we began working together. 

Busy with his current practice and clinic he simply didn't have the time to manage all of the details of building out the clinics.

IDI provided professional services of space planning, construction management, infrastructure build out including structured wiring and security systems. We also provided the new furniture for each clinic.

Shawn even entrusted the outfitting of the back office to us which included procuring the computer equipment, setting up their internet access and office supplies. 

With this process in place their were able to get setup in one weekend and begin seeing patients the following week knowing that everything they needed was in place when they arrived.

The projects were located primarily along the east coast and most of the management was done remotely until the offices were complete.  This help to cut travel expenses.

Back in St. Louis when Shawn's original clinic had to move, due to the building being sold, IDI provided the same services as the other clinics along with the relocation services to get them into the new space and up and running quickly.

From our first project of providing new desk chairs, to assisting ABM in moving to their first leased space and then a larger space and then some downsizing later on, they have always been open to suggestions and ideas on improving their work environment.

ABM at its heart is a sales & service organization. This has meant lots of people on the phone all day long. In an open office environment the noise factor can be disruptive. To help mitigate the effects on his staff we installed the Cambridge Sound Management system in the open office area but also the executive spaces as well.  This helped staff to concentrate better on their efforts during the day.

This was moved to their most recent location when they downsized and switched to a hybrid operation after the pandemic. It has worked equally well in the smaller space.

After getting frustrated with not being able to get other companies to help her she was truly relieved to find IDI.

This is her first clinic after going out on her own and as with all clients we wanted to make sure she felt cared for, just as she cares for her clients.

The first step was a late night visit to her clinic on a trip from St. Louis to our base in Nixa, MO. Since she didn't have a "real" drawing this was step number one. An AutoCAD drawing allows for a greater level of accuracy when planning out your office.

The digital file also allows us to present 3D drawings of a space with accuracy so you know what you're getting.

Dr. Christy was doing a lot of work on the space herself, which we certainly respect. We always take the upmost care of any space that we work in, but when the client has put their own "sweat" into the space this is even more important.
